Dr. Kenneth McNeil Named Volunteer of the Year 2011
We honor Dr. Kenneth McNeil as WV Health Right’s Volunteer of the Year. Dr. McNeil has been a loyal and steadfast volunteer since 1999 and even volunteered for the clinic during his residency when WV Health Right was housed in the old McMillian Hospital building!
Dr. McNeil, who grew up in Weirton, earned a pharmacy degree from West Virginia University (he also has a Masters in nuclear pharmacy) and earned his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. WV Health Right staff and patients rely on Dr. McNeil’s pain management expertise and his warm and caring personality. “If you listen to the patient’s story, you can diagnose 90 percent of the problem. I see my Health Right patients all over town. They appreciate everything you do for them”, Dr. McNeil says. “It’s as much therapy for me as for the patients”.
Patricia White, Executive Director, praises Dr. McNeil for his years of dedication to the mission of WV Health Right. “Dr. McNeil is a committed, caring, and compassionate physician who makes an enormous impact on the quality of life for our patients”, she says. “So many of our patients suffer from chronic pain conditions and he always provides the highest quality of care to each and every one of them”
