The EquaHealth program is a specialty clinic located at WV Health Right’s main clinic at 1520 Washington St. East, Charleston, WV. Clinic hours are the third Wednesday of every month from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This specialty clinic focuses on the healthcare needs of the LGBTQ+ community and includes access to primary care/routine exams, vaccines, cancer screening, contraception, STI prevention, testing, treatment, pharmacy access, PrEP, gender-affirming hormone therapy, gender-affirming support (pre- and/or post-op), and specialist referrals.
Services also include behavioral health, substance use treatment, individual counseling, and support groups. Call to make an appointment. Walk-ins welcome.

LGBTQ+ support groups, including specific support groups for the trans community, are available every Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. The groups meet in the second-floor conference room at the main clinic.
HIV, STD, Hep-c, PrEP, vaccines, and family planning are available.
Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is available for anyone that wants to prevent HIV and is easy as taking one pill once a day. The use of PrEP has shown positive results at significantly reducing the risk of being infected. Those who benefit from treatment include:
-gay and bisexual men
-transgender women
-heterosexual men and women
-individuals who inject drugs
Telehealth appointments are also available for new or current patients seeking access to PrEP. 99% of people pay nothing out of pocket for PrEP with or without insurance.
