Founded in 1982 by a group of local physicians who recognized the need for ongoing healthcare among the most vulnerable members of our community, WV Health Right remains committed to the belief that every person, no matter their insurance or financial status, is entitled to quality care.
Today we provide more than 45,000 medically-underserved, uninsured, and underinsured adults with free comprehensive care, and we’re proud to serve patients from 34 counties and counting.
Launched in the spring of 2021 on Charleston’s West Side, our West Side Clinic and CommUNITY Wellness Center go above and beyond providing medical care. Not only does the clinic offer a full range of healthcare services, but it has also expanded to include a gym, teaching kitchen, child care services, food distribution center, and more.
Every year, we look forward to coming together to honor those who make our work possible. Attendees gather for an evening filled with celebration, great company, and a delicious, multi-course meal at the Clay Center.
We’re teaming up with James Beard Award winner Chef Paul Smith to launch Prepped To Serve, a fast-track fine dining certification program. It’s all about new opportunities and fresh starts.
Just a few more days until we’re back in Clay County providing FREE dental care! 🦷
Our mobile dental clinic serves low-income West Virginians ages 18 and older.
