All West Virginia Health Right support groups are facilitated by experienced healthcare professionals committed to helping you navigate whatever life/health challenges you’re facing within a caring community. No pre-registration is required.

A Dose of Hope Recovery Group

Supporting All Pathways to Recovery

No matter where you are in your personal journey, this free, bi-weekly gathering offers a safe space to give and receive support while fostering courage, hope, and healing. Led by peers and facilitated by licensed counselor Krista Neophytou, MA, LPC, A Dose of Hope Recovery Group is open to all. Sobriety is not a requirement for participation.

There may be no “one-size-fits-all” approach to recovery, but we know that healing happens together. We look forward to meeting you!

Please arrive 15 minutes early to your first session in order to complete check-in. Confidentiality and HIPAA will be maintained.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Group

A Supportive Community for Providers of Kinship Care

Are you a grandparent or family member caring for the children of loved ones? Join us for this free, weekly gathering to connect with and learn from others with shared experiences!

Led by peers and facilitated by licensed counselor Krista Neophytou, MA, LPC, our Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Group offers a supportive, confidential, and judgment-free space as you navigate the challenges of your unique role. On-site child care is available. You don’t have to go it alone!

LGBTQIA+ Support Group

Join us every Wednesday at the WV Health Right East End Clinic for this private support group facilitated by licensed healthcare professionals experienced with the specific needs of the LGBTQIA+ community. The support group is open to anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+, as well as those that are sharing a positive life experience with a family member, friend, or significant other that identifies as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

We Are Responsible Recovery Group

This free, weekly gathering offers a safe space to give and receive support—no matter where you are in your personal journey. Sobriety is not a requirement for participation. Led by Janis Moss, PRSS—someone with long-term recovery experience—We Are Responsible Recovery Group is open to all.

This weekly meeting will utilize various materials from the 12 Steps program to discuss and work through together. We look forward to meeting you!
