WV Health Right cares for adult patients who either have no health insurance or have Medicaid/Medicare. We use the skills of physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other medical professionals who volunteer their time and talents. Patients must qualify for services and are seen free of charge.
WV Health Right provides comprehensive primary and specialty care to more than 45,000 uninsured and medically underserved patients. Patients with diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular, and other chronic diseases have regularly scheduled access to medical supervision and medications while patients with acute illness receive care on a non-emergency basis both on-site and at volunteer specialists’ offices.
We offer an array of behavioral health services at our main clinic and both the Covenant House and West Side clinic locations.
The primary goal of our dental clinic is the elimination of pain and infection.
WV Health Right offers a range of birth control options for individuals ages 12 and older.
We offer health education classes to provide the clinic’s patients with self-management techniques that promote personal responsibility for health improvement.
Support groups are facilitated by experienced healthcare professionals committed to helping you navigate challenges within a caring community.
Our volunteer ophthalmologist and optometrist see patients for diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, eye disease, and annual dilated eye exams.
