Giving up tobacco has countless benefits for your health and overall quality of life, but we know it’s not easy. Our 8-week “Puffer Snuffers” class is designed to help you stop smoking at a pace that’s right for you. Sessions last for approximately an hour, and snacks are provided. Virtual check-ins are an option after your first visit. Medications (when prescribed) and other smoking cessation aids are available to those who qualify.

Benefits of Quitting

  • If you smoke two packs per day, quitting could save you almost $400 each month.
  • Two weeks after quitting, your risk of a heart attack begins to drop and lung function begins to improve. 
  • One to nine months after quitting, coughing and shortness of breath decrease. 
  • One year after quitting, your risk of coronary heart disease is half that of a smoker. 
  • Five to fifteen years after smoking, your risk of having a stroke is reduced to that of a non-smoker. 
  • 10 years after quitting, your risk of dying from lung cancer is half that of a smoker.
