Primary Care

Provider with Patient

WV Health Right provides a compassionate, patient-centered system of care.

The primary goal of WV Health Right is to provide a medical home to uninsured and Medicaid/Medicare insured adults. Volunteer physicians from virtually every specialty area as well as nurse practitioners, nurses, and other medical volunteers enable the clinic’s medical teams to provide medical care to the ever-growing number of patients seeking treatment.

Each patient is assigned to a medical team that monitors and tracks all aspects of their health needs. Patients with chronic illnesses (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, etc.) have continuity of medical supervision and medications while patients with acute illness receive care on a non-emergency basis both on-site and at volunteer specialist offices.

WV Health Right also offers women’s health services like pap smears and mammograms.

Primary care is available at all West Virginia Health Right locations.
