Cooking class for children ages 5 and older. Parents must be present with children and both must fill out adult and juvenile Welcome Forms and a signed Kitchen Hold Harmless Agreement. Limit of 4 people per household per cooking station. Registration is required.
Join us every Thursday in our state-of-the-art teaching kitchen for lessons on food and meal prep basics to support a healthier life. The class is free and open to everyone 18+, whether or not you’re a current WV Health Right patient. Learn how to build balanced meals, the surprising places where fat and calories hide, tips and tricks for healthy snacking, and other essentials!
One of the best parts of this class is the opportunity to share recipes and techniques with each other! We all have something to teach and something to learn. No matter your level of experience, we encourage you to sign up. Teens ages 13–18 may participate in the class if accompanied by a parent. Child care is available for kids under 12 in our Little Sprouts Kids’ Room.
