WVHR Mobile Teaching Kitchen and Prepped to Serve Pop-Up Market with Gritt’s Farm
Our Mobile Teaching Kitchen hosted a live cooking demonstration on Thursday, July 24, at the East End Clinic. The one and only Chef Paul Smith led the demo alongside trainees from our Prepped to Serve Appalachia program, showcasing how to prepare healthy meals using local, seasonal ingredients.
In addition to the demo, a fresh produce pop-up market from Gritt’s Farm was on site from 9 a.m. to noon.
We’re excited to continue expanding access to nutrition education and fresh food in our community.
