WV Health Right’s cooking classes are held in teaching kitchens at the CommUNITY Wellness Center and the East End Clinic. Teaching Kitchens are the ideal learning environment, fully-equipped for a wide range of culinary fun. In them, you’ll find all of the ingredients and supplies you need for classes—and more!

Cooking class for children ages 5 and older. Parents must be present with children and both must fill out adult and juvenile Welcome Forms and a signed Kitchen Hold Harmless Agreement. Limit of 4 people per household per cooking station.

The class is free and open to everyone 18+, whether or not you’re a current WV Health Right patient. Learn how to build balanced meals, the surprising places where fat and calories hide, tips and tricks for healthy snacking, and other essentials!

WV Health Right’s Sustainable Change and Lifestyle Enhancement (SCALE®) program is a free, ongoing weight loss program for low-income, at-risk patients. Classes are offered weekly by a qualified team of providers at our main clinic and tailored to the needs of individual participants.
