Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting

June 26th was a legendary moment in WV Health Right history—we cut the ribbon on our East End Clinic Expansion! Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who came to help us celebrate this huge milestone for affordable healthcare in our state. We continue to thank the generous donors and sponsors who made this possible, and we are so excited about the new and expanded services that will operate in our three-story clinic: upgraded vision and dental clinics, increased laboratory space, an expanded on-site pharmacy, dedicated behavioral health and recovery support wing with exam rooms and a group room, a new health education teaching kitchen, and additional offices for volunteer medical specialists, clinical staff, and administrative staff. Thanks again to all who came out to celebrate this big moment!

July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month

This is a great time to highlight the enhanced behavioral health services at our expanded East End Clinic, including a recovery wing. WV Health Right’s team of qualified, compassionate behavioral health specialists includes a respected psychiatrist with over two decades of experience, a behavioral health certified nurse practitioner, and a licensed psychologist, along with numerous social workers, counselors, and peer recovery support professionals who work around the clock to meet the needs of our community.

Join Us for Our Health Education Classes This Summer

It’s hot outside! It can be challenging to get the exercise your body needs in these dog days of summer, when outdoor walks or jogs are overwhelming. Might we recommend that you stay cool with one of our Health Education classes instead? From hip hop to tai chi to yoga, we have a vibrant schedule of offerings to get you moving!

Are you looking for a way to get involved with your community this summer and make a difference?

WV Health Right is looking for friendly folks to join our Volunteers with Heart program! This program is for those looking to get involved and make a difference in their community. Our volunteers may greet patients and take them to their destination in the clinic, help in our health education classes, and/or assist our clinical staff in preparing patient intakes. It’s also a great way to make an impact and learn more about the medical field in the process! A perfect opportunity for retirees, students, or anyone looking to lend a helping hand. Learn more and sign up today.
