Building expansion at our East End Clinic is moving right along.
With a projected completion date of summer 2024, the 15,000 sq. feet of additional clinic space will allow us to keep taking new patients and enable more behavioral health, dental, vision, and medical treatment areas. You can learn more about our East End Clinic expansion here.

Two special guests toured our clinic sites.
It was a true honor to welcome our former volunteer, Dr. Rahul Gupta, the National Drug Czar, at our West Side CommUNITY Wellness Center earlier this month. While there, Dr. Gupta saw patients and chatted with us about our innovative approach to public health.
Dr. Gupta’s visit followed closely on the heels of a visit by Gayle Manchin, Co-Chair of the Appalachian Regional Commission, who conducted a comprehensive tour of our three clinic sites, plus our mobile dental and medical units. WV Health Right thanks both Dr. Gupta and Mrs. Manchin for their support of our mission to make quality healthcare accessible to all.
Our new food distribution center is up and running!
This spring, we celebrated the opening of A More Excellent Way Life Center Church John 6 CommUNITY Food Center—the fourth and final phase of development for WV Health Right’s ComUNITY Wellness Center on the West Side. Having outgrown its previous home, the food center required a new, larger location from which to serve the 400+ families who rely on it monthly.
Food distribution happens on the third Saturday of every month, and the center is open and accessible through the CommUNITY Wellness Center as needed. We’re so grateful to Aetna Better Health of West Virginia, Mountaineer Foodbank, Save the Children, the Midwest Foodbank, and all of our fantastic volunteers for making this operation possible.
