Jack Whitley helped shape West Virginia Health Right in ways that cannot be measured by a job title alone. He was an extraordinary pharmacist and a deeply loved friend to so many of us. He brought compassion into this clinic every single day, and our patients felt it. Our staff felt it. I felt it.
When someone gives that much of themselves to a place, their absence is felt in every corner of it. But Jack left us something precious. He left a legacy in the lives he touched and in the care he gave.
That is why it meant so much to gather with Jack’s family in his honor and announce that our pharmacy will be renamed the Jack Walter Whitley Pharmacy at West Virginia Health Right. His life and work will remain a part of this place forever.
