Important Information for the Day

What to Expect

  • Arrival: Doors to the clinic will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Staff will be at the clinic by 6:30 a.m.

  • Check-In: When you arrive, staff and volunteers will greet you and help you get checked in.

  • Wait Times: We’ll do our best to serve everyone quickly, but please be patient as we care for each person with compassion.

  • Privacy & Respect: This event is open to everyone, and no ID is required to receive care. No questions will be asked about your income or insurance. 

Plan Ahead

Bring anything you might need while waiting—snacks, water, medications, and clothing for the weather. A porta-potty will be available outside. Restrooms will be available on-site once the clinic opens.

Parking

Patient parking will be available at our East End Clinic, located at 1520 Washington St E, Charleston, WV. Overflow parking will be at Laidley Field or on-street parking.

During #WeCareWV Day, you’ll have access to FREE health services, including:

Medical

Dental

Vision

Audiology

Please note: Dental and vision services services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to time constraints, patients will need to choose between medical and dental or medical and vision services. You cannot do both dental and vision. Medical services will be available to everyone attending the clinic.

To help with patient flow, wristbands will be distributed in line:
  • Blue – Medical
  • Red – Dental
  • Yellow – Vision

  • Please keep in mind that clinic hours and capacity may shift, especially in cases of volunteer changes or other unexpected circumstances.
  • The clinic will remain open until 5 p.m., but service areas may close earlier if they reach their daily capacity.
