Always a special evening filled with top-notch food and company, this year’s volunteer appreciation dinner was one of the most joyous yet.
Not only did we honor the hundreds of volunteers (physicians, pharmacists, dentists, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, hygienists, office personnel, and more) who make WV Health Right’s mission possible, but we also celebrated 40 years of healthcare with heart!
Those who joined us on December 4th at the Clay Center helped us recognize and build upon the enormous impact of ALL these dedicated individuals, including our 2022 Volunteer of the Year Dr. Misaghi. Because of them, more than 42,000 low-income and medically-underserved West Virginians statewide have regular access to high-quality, often lifesaving care.
Proceeds from the event support WV Health Right—and our inspiring “army” of volunteers—in providing free, comprehensive healthcare to our most vulnerable neighbors.
