Hundreds of patients came out for this year’s Remote Area Medical clinic.
Our team was proud to partner with Remote Area Medical—RAM ®—once again—to hold a free pop-up clinic offering quality dental, medical, and vision care to our community. Thanks to our dedicated army of volunteers, we provided more than 300 medically-underserved members of our community with vital healthcare services which they may otherwise have been unable to access. Special thanks to Paul Greco, owner of Sam’s Uptown Cafe, for supplying fantastic food for our hardworking providers over this two-day event!

Every year, the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (NAFC) brings together medical professionals and healthcare administrators from across the country for a multi-day, educational conference, with the purpose of sharing innovative ideas and learning from each other. WV Health Right was thrilled to present on how we’ve developed the CommUNITY Wellness Center to serve as a “one stop shop” for addressing social determinants of health.

Angie made a pit stop in San Francisco with epidemiologist Mandy Harper for Gilead’s FOCUS program summit, where grant recipients convened to share stories and lessons learned about increasing the reach for HIV, HCV, and HBV testing and connection to care in communities across the U.S.
