Grand Opening Expansion

June is a big month for us here at WV Health Right—we’re growing! That’s right—West Virginia’s oldest and largest free and charitable clinic is expanding. With this three-story addition to our East End Clinic, we can now provide new and improved services and programming to those most in need of care.

Learn more about our expansion and all of West Virginia Health Right’s offerings here

You’re invited to join us on Wednesday, June 26th at 3:00pm at 1520 Washington St. E. as we unveil and celebrate this major milestone in our journey to better serve our community.

Connecting Communities

Thanks to Rhonda, Jennifer and long-time volunteer and board member, Fran, for representing WV Health Right at the Rainbow PRIDE festival. Attendees learned about our EquaHealth program that offers preventative services to help keep our LGBTQIA+ community safe and healthy.

Did you know that the medication PrEP helps prevent HIV infection?

PrEP can be dosed as a pill or an injection, both of which we offer at WV Health Right. No matter how you might be at risk, we are here to help you protect yourself and those you love from becoming infected! Telehealth and in-person appointments are available for new or current patients—check the link below to schedule or learn more.

Join us for our Stealthy Healthy Cooking Class

Every Thursday we host a class in our state-of-the-art teaching kitchen for lessons on food and meal prep basics to support a healthier life. This class is free and open to everyone 18 and older, whether you’re a WV Health Right patient or not. We’ll explore healthy cooking along with basic nutritional education to empower you in your health journey!

Are you interested in supporting the lifesaving work of WV Health Right but unsure of how you can help?

Our Volunteers with Heart program is looking for friendly folks to greet our patients and guide them to the appropriate department at our East End Clinic! Volunteers are needed during our clinic hours of 8 am to 5 pm, and while full shifts are helpful, morning and afternoon shifts are also available. To register or learn more, check out the link below!

On Saturday, October 19th, we’re hosting our own free medical, dental and vision care day at our newly expanded clinic!

We can’t wait to use our new and improved clinic spaces to ensure that our most vulnerable neighbors have access to the care they need and deserve, and we need your support. Sponsorships are now available to directly support the free care we’ll provide on #WeCareWV Day—check out the link below to donate!
