Tribute to Board Member, Dr. Clark Adkins

Always smiling, always willing to help, always contributing to the mission and work of WV Health Right—we share our deep grief and sadness over the loss of our beloved board member, faithful volunteer, and friend, Dr. Clark Adkins. We send our prayers, love, and support to his wonderful family. We know his loss is profound.


Union Mission Honoring Dr. Angie Settle at Women On A Mission Luncheon

On May 7, 2024, Dr. Angie Settle will be one of five women recognized at the “Bouquet of Blessings” event during the Women On A Mission luncheon at the Charleston Marriott at 12:00 p.m. This celebration honors women who have significantly contributed to their communities through dedicated service.

Dr. Settle, alongside Teresa Brown, Marjorie Cooke, Donna Lucas, and Ellen Slotnick, is being recognized for her impactful healthcare work and commitment to community service in West Virginia. Our East End Clinic expansion, opening on June 26, 2024, is a significant milestone in enhancing our ability to provide comprehensive healthcare. It’s not just about the additional space; this development means we can extend behavioral health services, substance use disorder treatment, and pharmacy services, alongside introducing new amenities like a fitness room and teaching kitchen. Importantly, the expansion is projected to allow us to serve over 60,000 patients annually, significantly increasing our impact on West Virginia’s underserved communities.

Instructor Spotlight: Krista Neophytou, MA, LPC, ALPS

This month, we’re shining a light on Krista Neophytou, MA, LPC, ALPS, a Licensed Professional Counselor at WV Health Right. Krista leads our boot camp workouts, focusing on strength and cardio training. Her classes offer a balanced mix of aerobic exercises, strength training, and speed work. Join her for a session that’s all about getting stronger and boosting your fitness in a supportive setting.
