Announcing WV Health Right’s 2026 Volunteer of the Year, Shelley Humphreys (WHNP, BC)

We’re thrilled to announce our 2026 Volunteer of the Year: Shelley Humphreys, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at WVU. For two decades, she has volunteered her skills, experience, and compassion with us to serve women in our community. We’re grateful for her incredible commitment and excited to celebrate her at our 2026 Volunteer Dinner!

“Often, just when a patient thinks there’s no hope of gaining care, WV Health Right is able to come to the rescue and provide those valuable resources,” Shelley said of her experience volunteering in 2023. “They provide the care and resources that no one else can. I am so blessed to be a small part of it.” We’re so grateful for your devotion to our patients, Shelley!

Celebrating Our Dental Team

This month, we were so proud to shine two spotlights on dental care: Dental Assistants Recognition Week (March 1–7) and National Dentists Day (March 6).

We want to give a special shout-out to WVHR Dental Assistants Holly Savage, Ann Sibold, and Hannah Elliott, whose dedication helps ensure every patient receives thorough, transformative care.

We also honor our incredible dentists, whose generosity makes it possible for us to provide essential services to patients who might otherwise go without care.

Dental health is a vital part of overall wellness. Learn more about on-site and mobile dental services here:
